  • Mrs A. L. Ruysenaars (Chair) & P. J. Ruysenaars Hon (Treasurer)
    Peter and Sandra Ruysenaars were both born in Eldoret, Kenya. They have lived and worked on the Kenya Coast since December, 1973. 

    Peter sold his Accountancy Practice in 1993 and for the past 20 years both he and Sandra made their home in Shimoni — on Kenya’s South Coast — where they owned and operated The Pemba Channel Fishing Club and Pemba Channel Lodge. Recently they decided to ‘retire’ again and will now spend most their time growing Kenya Kesho.

  • Mrs Sally Mullens (Hon Secretary)
    Sally is a director at the world famous  Charlie Claw’s tour company based in Shimoni.
  • Mrs C. C. M. Hughes (Trustee)
    Carole Hughes is Sandra’s sister and lives in Nairobi.
  • Trevor Gander (Trustee)
    Trevor was born in Kenya, was educated in Guernsey and has travelled the world since. Together, he and Connie have two daughters.
  • Herman W. M. Ruijsenaars (Trustee)
    Herman is Peter’s younger brother who now lives in the UK. Herman has two children who have recently finished University.
  • Mrs Katie Beckwith (Trustee)
  • Ms Morag Heggie (Trustee)
    Morag is a niece of Margaret England.
  • Matthew Harwood (Trustee)
    Matthew is a now Jungian Analyst after a very chequered and colourful career.
