Poverty Eradication with wood carvings

One of Kenya Kesho‘s primary initiative is poverty eradication. We feel strongly about this since it has such a dramatic impact on the communities we serve. We encourage and promote community members to pursue business opportunities that will help them earn a living.

The fabulous wood carvings you see in this blog post were created by a talented individual thanks to assistance from our organisation.

Other self sufficiency initiatives include community members making delicious ufutas which are sold to tourists.
