Buy a Brick, Build a School

In our district here on Kenya’s South Coast, there are many students and too few schools for them to attend. Furthermore, some schools require repairs or additional facilities added on.

You can help improve the learning opportunities of our kids by either donating bricks or cement to Kenya Kesho, or by sponsoring a brick (or bricks) via a small financial contribution.

Did you know that it only cost KSh 30 (23 pence) to buy a brick? Once we accumulate enough bricks, we can get started with the construction. One of our goals is to build a primary and secondary school within the Pongue Kidimu area. It will have fully qualified teachers and all our sponsored students who attend various schools will finally be under the same roof. This will improve the learning abilities of our kids.
