Did you know that it costs about GBP 30 to build a desk? We have some classrooms with NO DESKS at all. This is unacceptable since it takes the focus away from learning due to the lack of other classroom essentials.
Our volunteers routinely make desks since our schools can’t seem to get enough of them {see our ‘Making desks for Schools‘ blog post}.
